Economic Buzz: U.S. Consumer Sentiment Index Rises

The University of Michigan said that U.S consumer sentiment rose to a seasonally adjusted 76.4, from 72.3 in the preceding month. Analysts had expected UoM consumer sentiment to rise to 73.2 last month.
